Chuck Norris has shared the heartbreaking news that his mother, Wilma Norris Knight, has passed away at the age of 103. The 84-year-old Walker, Texas Ranger star announced her passing on Instagram, revealing she died peacefully on Wednesday morning.
Wilma, born in 1921 in Wilson, Oklahoma, overcame significant hardships. Raised in poverty, she became a ward of the state at just 8 years old and spent two years in a children’s hospital battling a rare disease. Despite these challenges, she raised three sons, including Chuck, as a single mother after her divorce.
In 2011, Wilma shared her remarkable story in her autobiography, Acts of Kindness: My Story. Chuck paid tribute to his mother, saying, “I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her.” He ended his heartfelt message with, “We love you, Mom. Until we meet again.”
